When discussing the preservation of the Amazon region, it is common to solely focus on the conservation of the forest and the reduction of deforestation. It is essential to address the area's economic and societal concerns to develop sustainable and practical solutions. The teams have chosen specific research topics with these principles in mind to present a new outlook on the Amazon and discover innovative solutions to the complex issues faced within the region. To write these reports, we conducted workshops with numerous Amazon region experts. The following is a summary of their insights.
